Birthday Parties For Kids
Looking for a unique and fun birthday party for your child? Host your next celebration at The Works Museum.
Kids and their grown ups love the easy-to-supervise open floor plan where guests can engineer the elements of a house, test out a giant kaleidoscope, build and race K’Nex cars down a ramp, and much more.
Our birthday parties aren’t just fun - they’re easy. All you provide is cake and presents, and we’ll take care of the rest. All paper products and table wrap are provided, and our staff will take care of cleanup after your party. You don’t even need to worry about birthday party favors, because guests can engineer their own with a hands-on project led by one of our staff members.

Two Hour Party
The two-hour party package includes time to explore the Museum floor, thirty minutes in a private party room for treats and presents, and a hands-on engineering activity led by an educator (create your own unique party favors!).
Cost: $250 for up to 10 children. Additional children are $10 each. Adults are free.
Party Activities (choose one):
Ages 5-6:
Sail Cars: Build your own wind-powered car, using wheels, axles, and a sail you design yourself.
Kaleidoscopes: Make your own kaleidoscope and have fun exploring light, patterns, and reflections.
Ages 7-8:
Fling Flyers: Construct a foam glider that launches with a rubber band and flies an amazing distance.
Kaleidoscopes: Make your own kaleidoscope and have fun exploring light, patterns, and reflections.
Ages 9-12:
Mini-Catapults: Use glue guns to construct your own catapult with simple materials, then see how far you can fling a pompom.

90-Minute Party
Looking for a shorter party experience?
This package includes an hour of hands-on exploration in the Museum, followed by thirty minutes in a private party room to enjoy presents and cake.
Cost: $210 for up to 10 children, additional children are $7 each. Adults are free.

The Works Museum is ideal for kids ages 4 to 12.

Food and beverage is provided by the host family. The Works is not licensed for alcohol, and we do not provide food heating or cooling capabilities, but food is not otherwise restricted.

The Works currently offers parties on Saturdays and Sundays during the school year, and Saturdays only during the summer.

All host families will have their own room for the duration of their party.

• Tabletop decorations are welcome.
• Balloons are allowed if weighted.
• The Works does not allow pinatas.
